Welcome to AffirmLock. By using the AffirmLock mobile application or website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use AffirmLock.
- If you are under 18, you should use AffirmLock with parent or guardian consent.
- You are responsible for complying with applicable laws and Apple terms.
2. Description of Service
AffirmLock is a digital wellness app and mindful app blocker for iPhone. It uses iOS Screen Time permissions to create a pause before selected apps unlock. The app may include mood check-ins, optional journaling, AI-generated or fallback affirmations, breathing sessions, reminders, widgets, and progress history.
AffirmLock is not a medical device, mental-health treatment, therapy, diagnosis, or emergency service. If you are experiencing a crisis or need professional care, contact emergency services or a qualified professional.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
AffirmLock Premium is offered through Apple's App Store as monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscription options. Current U.S. launch pricing is $7.99/month or $59.99/year, with a 3-day free trial where available. Localized prices, trial availability, renewal terms, and currency are shown in Apple's purchase sheet before you confirm payment.
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID settings.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple policies.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of journal entries, moods, notes, recordings, and other content you create. You grant AffirmLock a limited right to process that content only as needed to provide app features, such as generating an affirmation when you choose AI generation.
5. Acceptable Use
- Do not use AffirmLock for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or backend.
- Do not submit content that instructs the system to reveal secrets, credentials, or system prompts.
6. Third-Party Services
AffirmLock relies on Apple, RevenueCat, OpenAI, and Sentry for certain features. Your use of those features may also be subject to their terms and policies.
7. Disclaimers
AffirmLock is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Screen Time and app restriction behavior can be affected by iOS settings, Apple platform changes, permissions, network state, or device configuration.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AffirmLock will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for AffirmLock in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
